Vocal Breakthrough

Another Quickie:

Tonight I had an amazing vocal night...  my brother got on the drumset and we just started playing "Master Of Puppets" by Metallica...    I've been working on my chest voice a lot lately and decided that i'm just going to go for it...  so I did... and it sounded AWESOME

I sung the whole song straight thought, hit every note, aggressive as hell and kept going..    I couldn't believe it...  then I was like,  well,  let's try  "I Am Blank (Nothing)"   and BAM!!  Sung the whole song out, no problem...  couldnt' believe it...   usually I have trouble really pushing my voice,  but for some reason tonight,  My voice was SO  ON!!!

Then I did White Lines, New Dimension, and I did Burden In My Hand by Soundgarden...  all rocked...       then after,  I tried to sing starlight and  I SOUNDED LIKE CRAP!!   Because the way my voice works it's either PEFECTLY SOFT & SWEET or PERFECTLY LOUD & PROUD and I don't have  a middle...   I sang reallly hard and real loud tonight and it sounded great,  but I lost my "soft" voice...   So the challenge for me now, is to balance out the two...  and I will..

TONIGHT WAS A MILESTONE!!  I'm SO HAPPY!!   J.E.L.L.i.  live is going to ROCK

My Perfect voice:  The Agression of David Grohl, the Range of Stevie Wonder, and the Softness of John Mayer

I will achieve my perfect voice.
